Food from Egypt

The egyptians had a very different food menu compared to today. Food played a big role in the egyptian's lives. They relied on food to keep them healthy and alive. The Nile River also played a big role in food for Egypt.  It supplied silty soil that was used to plant crops. The egyptians used many different ways to cook and make their food. Many people have said that if Egypt didn't have the pyramids, the beaches, the sunshine, or the scenery, it would still be worth visiting for the food alone.
